the current soundtrack of life
Much like the movies, my life plays out in real time accompanied by a soundtrack in my mind. I wish I could tell you when it started or why it is I’m wired this way, but even in my earliest memories I can hear the music of that particular season being played as I review it’s film on the screen in my brain, it’s harmonies and dissonances complimenting the rise and fall of my own story.
The last few years have had a very specific soundtrack. There are certain songs that have pulled me through my times of grief, given me hope, and expressed the prayers of my heart that I could find no way to say. Today I want to share some of that playlist with you. I hope in some way they can be to you what they’ve been to me.
