Thank You [Experience Christmas] & Welcome
Special thanks for your support through the Experience Christmas Devotional series. I’d like to take a minute to welcome new readers and give you a little peek into who I am and what I write about.
Thank you for joining me on this incredible devotional adventure and for sharing meaningful posts with your friends and family. I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the support and encouragement I’ve received from readers. You have no idea how much your texts and emails and social media messages have meant to me. They have kept me writing this month, and given me such vision for the next leg of this project. Thank you.
Many of you are new . . .
Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found your way to this space through Experience Christmas. In January, I’ll be back blogging regularly about practical faith, intentional family and creative ministry, and hope we’ll get a chance to connect online through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest.
More about me & what you can expect in the New Year –
My faith in Christ is central to every aspect of my life. He is the motivation and inspiration behind my writing, my work and my relationships. My life is far from perfect, but He has made it full and beautiful and more incredible than I could have ever imagined.
I have a very special place in my heart for creativity in the Church, and love expressing that through the creation of original Church Drama Scripts. You’ll also hear about the ongoing journey of my own faith in the Finding Faith series.
I’ve been married to my best friend Michael for almost a DECADE (what?!?!) and we have two fabulous little boys Elijah and Noah. I work from home in the neighborhood I grew up in as a freelancer and writer, which allows me to be a stay-at-home and homeschool mom.
I write a lot about what it means to be a mom in Mom Life – the joys, the frustrations, and also the practical nature of the job. I also touch on practical family living in Everyday Living & Favorite Recipes.
I love to create. Most often that happens behind a computer screen or a sewing machine, but I think every do-it-yourself project we’ve tackled has left it’s own special mark on my dining room table as well. Smiles.
You can expect tutorials for Costumes & Sewing and Do It Yourself Projects, and also posts just For the Love of Words.
I’m so glad you’re here.
Now go grab your favorite cup of coffee and make yourself at home. 🙂
