Monologues and Production Notes for a Full-Length Dramatic Christmas Presentation

Overview

The Stories script includes 5 monologues presented by LILY, detailing the events of her modern-day Christmas Eve, woven together with 5 fictionalized narratives of Biblical characters present at the first Christmas. Beginning and ending with a common NARRATOR, listeners are challenged to consider what their stories mean in light of Jesus’.

The Biblical monologues included in this script are five of the six scripts found in the Christmas Monologue Bundle available on this website, making these popular resources available to churches and ministries in a variety of formats.

Stories can be presented in several different ways:
  • As written in the pages of this paperback script
  • Separated, telling LILY’s story only
  • Separated, using one or more of the Biblical monologues only
  • Rearranging the order of the Biblical monologues with LILY’s
  • Lengthened with additional Christmas songs and carols
