Sacred Moments
Every Sunday morning on the way to church the boys and I pray that God would open our hearts to hear what He is speaking. Through this morning’s message by Ken Davis I was reminded again how God hears those simple prayers and speaks the words we need when we need them most. It’s those sacred moments that make life something special.
I am profoundly grateful.
Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture . . . None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing – nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable – absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

Today marks a chapters end,
Tomorrow begins something new.
Veiled in certain obscurity,
I am reminded of the constant Presence,
Constant Love,
Constant Friend,
Who always walks beside me.
He has not forgotten,
Nor does He delay.
Tomorrow I choose trust instead of fear,
Peace instead of anxiety,
Hope instead of doubt.
Belief that what I thought was harm,
Can actually be turned to good.
So tomorrow on purpose and by choice,
In strength not my own –
I’ll live with confidence the story He’s telling,
And continue to speak of His goodness,

Rejoicing wherever the story leads.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
