Hot Drink Sampler Mug {and Christmas gift tag printable}
Now that Elijah’s in preschool and both boys are involved in extra curricular activities we have some teacher-types to appreciate this Christmas. One of the gifts I’ve been working on is a hot drink sampler mug (which could easily be used as a non-holiday gift by changing the colors of the mug and ribbon).
What you’ll need to complete one mug . . .
Coffee Mug
35″ length of ribbon
Sparkly Christmas ornament (no longer than the width of the mug)
Hot glue
Glue gun
2 instant packets of the following:
- Hot Chocolate
- Apple cider
- Regular coffee
- Decaffeinated coffee
- Tea
Putting it together . . .
Place a dot of hot glue at the back center of the mug and press the center of the length of ribbon to it. Keeping the ribbon straight around the sides and out towards the front of the mug, add a dot of hot glue underneath the handle and to the outside of the mug opposite the handle. Press the ribbon firmly to the dot of glue on both sides. Tie the ornament into the bow at the front of the mug, and place a dot of hot glue behind the knot of the bow to keep the bow and ornament in place. (Hot glue will easily peel off the side of the mug to be used and washed).
Arrange the instant packets inside the mug from largest to smallest. Add Christmas gift tag printable and gift :).
