Full Days, Full Hearts
March is so full of special celebrations I find it hard to keep up with myself. We’ve had some amazing and full days over the last several weeks, but there are two moments I had to mention before I give myself permission to start in on the others.
My baby is growing up entirely too fast. This month he turned three.
My Noah – with the cheeky grin and the tender heart that I am certain will teach me as much as I teach him – he’s come so far in the last year.
He’s talking. He’s sleeping. He’s out of his diapers, through with his paci, and is literally blossoming into himself before my eyes.
We are different, the two of us, in many ways – but still inseparable. And I’m ok with that.
Then there’s this one. The one I knew was for me months after he asked me to be his girl. The one I promised forever to. The one I still do.
We celebrated eight years last week with a trip downtown and time together to just be.
The perfect medicine for full days and full hearts.
