When Jenny approached me about reviewing one of her shirts, I spent the better portion of an evening scrolling through her products on Facebook (there are so many, and they are SO ADORABLE). I spend a lot of time working with fonts and graphics, so I tend to be pretty picky about them, especially on shirts. Jenny’s collection is on point. Her shirts are clever and trendy, and she presents them so well. But here’s the best part…
They are just as awesome in person as they are online.
The first thing I noticed about the t-shirt was how incredibly soft it was. Even my three-year-old cuddled up close to snuggle the fabric because it really is a beautifully made shirt. I ordered a large, and was pleasantly surprised to find it ran a tiny bit bigger than other custom shirts I have, so I felt beautiful and confident wearing it out without a sweater or shawl (although it would also look adorable with one). I even washed it (inside out in a garment bag and line dried) to see how it held up, and it looks just as gorgeous as it did out of the packaging.
All craftsmanship aside, this shirt is SO ME. Raising three boys can be chaos sometimes and I love that this is such a cheeky nod to my everyday life. Bonus – I had several compliments and inquiries about where I got the shirt and how to buy it – all good feedback on a new piece of clothing!

About Esther’s Nest
A few years ago Jenny got interested in urban farming, and her family invested in backyard chickens. Her kids got the esteemed honor of naming them, and her then five-year-old named one Esther. Over time everyone’s become Esther. 🙂
Today, Jenny spends a lot of time in the backyard with her chickens and she loves the nest philosophy…that no matter where they go throughout the day, no matter what they’re doing (gathering, laying, dust bathing) they always come HOME to the nest.
As a Mom, that’s how Jenny feels life is…whether she’s working for the church, volunteering at the school, or selling her items at a fair, she always knows her most important place is HOME.
