Closing Date
Whew. Big sigh of relief. We closed on our house today.
We made the four hour drive to Carlinville early this morning to do our final walk-through, drop off keys and sign about thirty seven pieces of paper. I think I might have floated into the title office. Never in my life did I think we would be so excited to sell. I may have been more excited today than I was when we bought three years ago.
We have been standing at a chapter marker in life for the past twelve months but have been unable to turn the page. It’s impossible to live in two places at once both emotionally and financially. Today we are finally able to turn the page and read the story that lies in front of us. I feel fabulous and free . . .
. . . and like I am quickly losing my train of thought. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and managed to see the sunrise over I-55. I had lots of incredible thoughts and feelings to share tonight in this blog, but they will have to wait for another day when I have a whole brain to work with.
I’ve had enough emoting for today. 🙂
Job 1:21 . . . Blessed be the name of the Lord.
